Water Damage? We Can Help.

As water pressure builds on your foundation, the smallest leak or crack can lead to a flooded basement or mold issues. Don’t put your home or your family’s health at risk—call Floyd Contracting to prevent water damage before it starts. Our research and development team has countless waterproofing solutions to keep your basement dry for years to come.

Water Trek
Water Trek Aqua Route® is a proven water removal system, tailored to your unique home and basement. It absorbs water from both sides of flooring, and can be installed in any soil or subfloor.
Sump Pumps
Our Basement Technologies® sump pumps are extremely efficient, use only the most reliable pumps, and are hardly noticeable once installed. They’re also corrosion-resistant and can pump up to ½ inch solids! Never worry about basement flooding again!
Battery Backup
We use Stallion Eliminator® battery backup units for our waterproofing! Don’t let electricity issues stop your basement’s sump pump system; let us install a battery-powered backup sump pump.
Wall Cracks
Stop concrete cracks in their tracks. We use special hydrophobic gel to seal and repair any cracks that may cause water damage. Concrete and soil can expand and contract; the compound we use provides a permanent solution to repel water and prevent cracks from spreading.
Fieldstone Walls
Fieldstone walls are often unsightly and can open the door to water damage, mold, dirt, and pests. Luckily, we can install fieldstone wall conduits, so you don’t have to renovate your home’s foundation completely. These wall coverings will seal out any problems, including water.

Basement Waterproofing FAQs

Why is it better to fix water damage on the inside, rather than outside?
Fixing internal damage will save you money, requires less intrusive repairs, and all of our repairs come with a lifetime warranty—even if water manages to find its way back in.
Is a sump pump enough to prevent water damage?
Sump pumps are best for removing water from a small area, rather than an entire basement. These pumps allow water in and then pump it out. They do not prevent water from entering in the first place.
How do you stop water from coming through cracks in the middle of the floor?
Waterproofing the entire perimeter of your basement is typically enough to prevent water from all entry points. Water will usually enter from the outside of the walls and move inward. Sealing the perimeter blocks it from the source.
Can water be removed from a block foundation?
When we waterproof your basement, we’ll drill holes in the block underneath the floor. This allows any potential water to be caught by our system.
How does water get to the sump pump?
The water will travel through our patented Water Tek Aqua Route System into the sump pump.
How do I fix water coming down my walls?
Our system accounts for water running down your walls, as well! If there are areas with unusually high intrusion, we’ll treat them with our Technicrack Membrane.
What do I do in case of a power outage?
We recommend installing a battery-powered backup sump pump so that any storms our outages won’t lead to water damage.
Will cleaning my gutters solve flooding issues?

Unfortunately, no. Once the water has found its way into your basement, the issue will persist. Call us to assess and prevent any damage.

Can’t I just paint my walls with waterproof paint?
Paint is not enough to stop water intrusion. Even with waterproof paint, water will find its way through foundational cracks, and you’ll end up with water and paint in your basement.
